I’ve been thinking about doing this for years now. I didn’t know where or how. I’m new to Substack. I still don’t understand it. I have a personal childhood friend/neighbor that I spent my childhood with that I would NEVER want him to read everything under my name that he knows on here. Good for you. Keep going. Maybe your journey will help me with mine.

There have been so many catastrophic events that maybe I don’t want to walk through them again because I don’t understand why they happened. I don’t think I ever will.

I’ll walk with you through yours. I’m not quite sure how to make sure I get a notification from you, but I’ll work on that.

You’re amazing. Keep going.

Your honesty means a lot. I don’t think we always get answers for why things happened; sometimes we just learn how to live with them differently.

I’m walking this path slowly too. Thank you for walking alongside me.

I feel you. You’re incredibly brave — it takes so much courage to do that, and I admire you for it. Just keep moving forward.

Thank you. It didn’t feel brave while writing it, but I’m glad I did. I appreciate the encouragement.

I’m new here too and learning how to say the quiet things out loud. Looking forward to reading more.

I love how you put that — “learning to say the quiet things out loud.” That’s exactly what this feels like for me too. Glad we’re both starting.

Love it! I am also writing about my life experiences. Currently posting poetry but writing a novel which will need to be “fictionalized” to protect the real people in my life. I look forward to reading more and supporting each other.

I relate to that. Writing honestly while protecting the people involved is something I’m still figuring out too. Wishing you the best with your novel.

I've rebuilt myself twice now. I've learned a lot in my 40 some odd years of life and I now recognize the patterns. I'm in the in-between space (again) but not looking for another rebuild. This season of life I'm learning to just be. Keep living, keep writing and remember, you gotta get down to get up. :)

I appreciate that. I’m definitely in the rebuilding phase right now. Thank you for the encouragement.

Looking forward to reading your life story

I appreciate that. It’s unfolding slowly, one chapter at a time.

Life can be overwhelming at times so, sometimes you just find the joy in little things that make up life. Excited to read the rest of it!

I agree. I’m still figuring out how to find those small moments again. Thank you for reading.

Can’t wait to read more. I recently joined to and I love this platform so much, it’s so welcoming.

I’m new here too, but it already feels like a welcoming space. Thank you for being part of it.

Welcome. The more you write the freer you will feel. I have healed a lot of myself through words on here. I look forward to hearing your story and support you.

I agree with what you’ve said. Putting our feelings into words either in a notepad or on a paper helps us a lot, even when it’s anonymous.

Thank you for your support.

Thank you, that means a lot. I’m still learning as I go, but I’m grateful it resonated with you.
